Gen. Sondhi Boonyaratkalin, who is known to be close to Thailand's revered monarch and is a Muslim in this Buddhist-dominated nation, will be acting prime minister, said army spokesman Col. Akara Chitroj." Thoughts? First possibly a revolution in Hungary and now a coup in Thailand, amazing stuff.

Well its what the people wanted and there is no trouble so it cant be that bad, because the prime minister was doing some shady stuff

It seems that the coup has been relatively peaceful without any bloodshed. This is really good to see. I think Thailand as a country and it's people are friendly and peaceful. Well that was my opinion when i was a tourist there. Whereas there have been some much violent attempted coups or riots in some east european and middle east countries recently
