My name is Mark, I am 17 years old and I follow current events and politics very seriously. I believe that the younger generation is spending their time on useless things. I am too a webmaster and at one point own ten sites, but as of late I have really toned down and have been doing other things. I heavily follow sports, especially any time within the state of Oregon and Seattle Seahawks(there a local team to me). I use to play video games on a regular basis but I have lost interest in them, maybe if a really good one comes out I can get back into it. A year ago I was considered a republican but as of late I have been making my own choices and have drifted to being more of a moderate. Thanks for listening!

Thanks for coming here. I am the same with video games and sites, I'm not nearly as interested and aside from picking up sports games and the occasional new game or finding out a game released a few years ago was real good (mostly PC), it's not a hobby like it used to be. I agree completely though I am guilty of it a few years ago such as playing video games daily, though I would personally put much more blame on adults as you would find our voting % is horrible compared to just about anyone and is sometimes is based on things such as for Bush that he was a Bush and they like his father so they vote for him. I don't expect people to be experts but to at least keep up and know what good and bad happens I think is very important. Teenagers aren't as much to blame simply because they are just not as mature (not a knock down, I was a teenager a year ago :p) so naturally do not take an interest in such things typically. It's what they should be doing, growing up without spending your time doing useless things would be a failed youth, in my eyes. But hey, we can't all agree on everything :D.
