Hello everyone.I followed the trail from the OS Debate Club forum. Nice work here, Charlie - it looks nice and well-organized. I am very impressed. You were known as "p2xgamers" right? I don't know how active I'll be here, but I'll at least stop by and read posts now and then.If you have read any of my posts on the OS Debate Club, you'll be able to tell that I am politically conservative, although I've purposely resisted being a party follower, so I always have been and will be a registered Independent. I am a follower of Jesus Christ, which means more than going to church on Sundays. When I debate, I am less interested in winning arguments but more interested in sharing what I know about God and his purpose for each person and the world. As I get older and hopefully wiser, my faith makes more sense spiritually and intellectually, and hopefully I can share that in a non-threatening way.I have a graduate degree in a science field and currently work as a research scientist, so as a Christian, I see it foolish to needlessly put science against God and vice versa. God allows us to discover more about his creation through science. He gave us a brain and intelligence and I see the glory of His creation through science.I better stop here or I'll just end up starting debates in an introduction forum.
