So, I decided what the heck and here I am.A little background. . . I am a former science teacher and presently I work for the science department of a widely-known company. Politics was one of my majors in college, and Ive always been very interested in the subject. However, I am also disgusted by both of the major political parties and Ive never been able to vote for either an elephant or an ass. I dont like to fight, but I love a good debate. So thats that. Im curious to see how this place turns out.:)TMCPS- One thing I just noticed: The preview option takes so friggin long that Im not even going to bother. I hope the server isnt always this slow.

Great to have you here, I share your disgust about both parties and as well about debating rather than fighting. Hope you enjoy it here.
As for the preview part, I will fix that ASAP...it takes forever to load because something with the javascript where it basically continues to load, I am looking into better options.
Just let me know if you have any questions, suggestions, etc.
Cool deal :)Oh, one other thing- I just edited my post ("elephand" to "elephant") and it edited the post properly, but after doing so, I did not see an indication that my post was edited, or when that edit occurred. If I may be so bold, I would suggest it saying somewhere that a post was edited. Otherwise, someone could say something with which I (or someone else) might agree, but then the original poster might completely change what they had posted! That could get confusing and potentially be a source of conflict. (Unless it already says somewhere that the post was edited and I just missed it LOL!):)TMC

That's a good idea, I had skipped over it when creating the forums since it seemed pointless but that's a good reason. I'll do that soon.
