Hi, I'm Mike. I'm 16 just beginning college and I'm from England. I always have strong opinions about things, especially moral and ethical debates, which is why I felt it fitting to apply to become moderator here at this forum. I pride myself on being someone who is open-minded and open to being proved wrong. I've ran several websites and forums in the past. My first website was a gaming magazine, with news and reviews, features and interviews. The only thing I currently run is my blog - which can be extremely bland at times when I run out of things to blog. I have been involved with coding/programming languages for some years now. I am most experienced in HTML and CSS but I know some of Java and PHP, and also C++. I am also an expert in mIRC script - which is where my enthusiam for coding started. I also enjoy writing, skateboarding, drumming and playing snooker in my spare time. - Mike
Glad to have you here. What's snooker? Good to have an open-minded person here as well, I'll take as many of those people as possible.
Ahhh, snooker is brilliant. As far as I'm concerned you haven't lived until you've played snooker :D. Uhm yea, but that doesn't tell you much about what it is. I'm sure they play snooker in america ... how odd that you don't know it. It's played on a 'table', and you hit balls around with long sticks called 'cues'. The aim of the game is to 'pot' the balls in the holes at the corners and sides of the table called 'pockets' (in the right order of course). The tables are pretty large at 12*6 foot. Tell me if it rings any bells, I find it strange you don't know it :D.
