Welcome to the Political Yard forums! I hope you all enjoy the site. I have a lot in store for those that do join, the forums are only a temporarily thing until I can get the site active and finish the main site itself. Articles, News, an entire community center as well as so much more. You can check out the upcoming features below: http://www.politicalyard.com/features.php If you have any suggestions for the forums here, the upcoming site, want to help out or anything else be sure to PM me or send me an e-mail. Thank you.
Membership link and message-link to your account name are "down." If you do have messaging installed, suggest you write a wiki on its use, adding FAQ for each new feature. Now comes your tech challenge. Not all posters will allow javascript at a political message site. Security risks like that are scary to the more cautious amongst us. You might want to make links work even for java-disabled (particularly IE6 and Firefox current). Limited HTML is cool; allowing anyone to run any kiddie script....hoohah, no, just don't. Word to the wise: if you did not write the program from the kernel-up, you may be using forumware also serving us tracking cookies. If so, clean out the call-home. You don't need the grief. A simple sign-in/password cookie will do. BTW, I don't expect you to keep any of this stuff as I wander around in my Member #6 gold flame athletic supporter, in the Rocky Horror Show revue. You look simply smashing as that Brit doing the explanation scenes. Must be the new johdpurs. (*Careens off wall, staggers off.*) On Edit: NO EMAIL ADDRESS SHOULD BE AVAILABLE TO ANY OTHER MEMBER BUT YOU. This guarantees you low membership---period.

Message link fixed, sorry about that. What do you mean about membership link? I'll look into the FAQ part. Quote:Now comes your tech challenge. The login at the moment doesn't require JS and signing up, I will fix that though stats for my different sites have shown 90-98%, some 100% allow Javascript. I'll do the registering aspect though it should work fine even without Javascript.
